Sometimes I find a new words, mostly from Duolingo, that I write down to use it later for a story. These are few words I had written down.

(7) J’avais . . .	avoir	I had . . .
(8) Je veux . . .	vouloir	I want . . .
(9) Je voulais . . .	vouloir	I wanted . . .
(10) Je rends . . .	rendre	I return . . . (can have other meanings)

Some examples (nr. 1 to 3):

• Je mets les fleurs sur la table.
• I put the flowers on the table.

• Je sens qu’il va pleuvoir aujourd’hui.
• I feel it’s gonna rain today.

• Je sens un rat.
• I smell a rat
