In English you normally put th to the end of a cardinal to make it an ordinal number. Be aware of the following exceptions:

  1. The first three ordinal numbers has it’s own form.
  2. Ending with “-e” will losing its letter.
  3. Ending with “-t” will losing its letter.
  4. Ending with “-ve” will be replaced by “-f+th” (if it doesn’t have an “-f” yet)
  5. Ending with “-y” will be replaced by “-ie+th”
