On a sunny Tuesday morning, I was invited by my friends Tom, Lisa, and Max. They decided to surprise me by going to the amusement park today. Lisa had packed her backpack with snacks and water bottles for everyone. “Today will be the best day ever!” Tom shouted excitedly.
When we entered, there was so much to see right away: tall towers, colorful rides, and cheerful music. First, we went on the roller coaster. Max was a bit scared, but Tom said, “Don’t worry, I’ll hold you!” And so the roller coaster went down while Max laughed loudly and his hat almost flew off.

A day out to the amusement park
After the roller coaster, we went to the Ferris wheel. From the high cabin, we looked out over the entire amusement park. “Look!” Lisa shouted, “There’s the carousel and the water ride!” We decided to visit the water ride first and then take a spin on the carousel.
Once we arrived at the water ride, Lisa decided she wanted to sit all the way in the back. She thought she would get less wet. That turned out to be an illusion. Right at the first drop, a big splash of water hit her face. Luckily, the staff handed out towels.
After all those adventures, we got hungry. At the snack bar not far from the water ride, we ordered large fries and cotton candy. Max tried a cotton candy, but it was so big it covered his whole face. “I feel like a spider in a white suit!” he joked.
At the end of the day, we were tired but happy. We had visited so many rides that we could barely walk. As we headed home, Lisa said, “This was the best day ever. We have to go back soon!” But first, dream of new adventures.
