Now it’s quarter to one. At quarter past two, in an hour and a half, my friend invites me to the bakery. But where is the nearest bakery? I’m hungry! Luckily I have a roadmap on my phone. Uhhmm, I think I should walk around the lake and then cross the bridge.
Ah, I believe I see it! After seven kilometers I have to turn right. Suddenly my mobile rings. It’s my best friend. He’s stressed because it’s about half past four. Oh no, I’m late! I’m still on my way and still have to go about two kilometers. I’m ashamed! It would have been better if I had taken the car.
Am I lost?
At five o’clock I finally arrive. I’m very tired and also very thirsty! My friend’s name is Hugo and he sits by the window. He is watching NetNix on his laptop because he was bored. He looks at me and says: “the Algerian series is better. No, it was a joke! I don’t know the Algerian language. But, how are you, my friend?” He gives me a big hug.
The waitress comes to our table. She is boring, speaks Norwegian and asks if we want something to drink or eat. But, we don’t have time now because we would like to go to the supermarket by taxi. The supermarket is open until six o’clock. So we have one hour left.
After the supermarket we would like to go to the beach for a barbecue. It is on the map between the supermarket and the bakery. Our other friends also come to the beach! Some friends are from Antwerp and the others are from Amsterdam. I say to my friends: “I would like to be rich so I can go to Antwerp by car”. Hugo replies: “Yes, you definitely should. You will love the city! For example, you can take very nice photos for social media.”
