Today the sky is gray but it is not raining. Without the sun, it’s very cold, that’s not a problem for me! So, I now walking to the clothing store. The store is on the ninth street on the left. It’s twenty-three kilometers from my apartment. But I don’t walk fast because I’m a little bit tired, so the walk takes about three hours. The things I have to buy are four pants and six shirts. I prefer blue pants and white shirts.
Four hours later, I arrive at the clothing store. It is a large white building. There are three departments on the fifth floor. The store has a women’s department and a children’s department. But also a department for men.
In the clothing store
The first thing I see are shoes. I don’t like those yellow shoes. Behind these shoes, there is a pair of shoes that I really love! Brown is my favorite color. I want to buy them! Suddenly, I hear a noise behind me. It’s my aunt Sarah.
“Hello Bamse, how are you!” Sarah shouts from afar.
“I’m fine, thank you Sarah. Uhm, why are you here?”
“Bamse, I would like a black coat. I have a party tonight and it’s very cold too. There’s nothing in my closet! But, which coat is more beautiful? This one in my left hand or this one in my right hand?”
“I think this one in your right hand.”
Sarah looks at herself in the mirror and says: “you’re right Bamse, this one is prettier. Thanks!”
“You’re welcome. But, can you help me out? I need four pants and six shirts.”
Sarah looks around. “Bamse, Bamse! There are some really nice socks here!”
“Sorry Sarah, I don’t want socks. I need…”
“Bamse, you must have a tie too! Or what do you think of this T-shirt or this…”
In the clothing store
“NO! These clothes are very expensive. Besides, I don’t need work clothes or sports clothes. I would like pants and shirts. Nothing more!”
“Sorry Bamse, I understand you. I’m very enthusiastic. There are way too many pretty clothes here. Look at this beige hat or that gray jacket.”
“All right. I want to buy everything if you want to buy a new closet for me too?”
It’s three hours later. Bamse and Sarah have finally finished in the store. Bamse is sure about it. He wants never again to shop with her. Sarah is very nice but she wants to buy too much. Today, Bamse buys a new black belt, three red sweaters, ten blue pants, six white shirts and his favorite brown shoes. Now, Bamse has four large plastic bags. These are white, yellow, black and red. Because these bags are heavy, he don’t want to walk to his apartment anymore. Bamse spends too much time with Sarah, he’s very tired too. So he calls a taxi which comes within six minutes.
