Ours Bamse is a warm and friendly universe centered around a curious bear who finds meaning in the small moments of everyday life.
Between quiet streets, unfamiliar shops, and long walks, ours Bamse discovers a world that has become almost invisible to most — a world full of calm, wonder, and small adventures. His stories move between memory, imagination, and the simple joy of being on the way. Sometimes light and playful, sometimes quiet and almost melancholic, but always told with gentle attention to the world around him.
From a little bear to a bigger story
The project “ours Bamse” began as a personal and creative escape from daily life. Over time, it grew into a place where stories, ideas, and different creations came together.
These stories previously appeared on the website oursbamse.nl and are now moving to michavanwissen.nl (in Dutch), where Bamse will continue to grow in future books and new stories.
In the coming years, the stories of ours Bamse will become available in multiple languages, allowing readers outside the Netherlands to lose themselves in his world.
Even though ours Bamse no longer has its own website, it remains a cherished part of my journey as a writer and creator.
