As a true nature lover, I find seasons really something fascinating. I especially admire how seasons, in periods of three months, each shows its own character.
Winter: In terms of temperature, I think winters are my least favorite season. You have to dress well and even then I’m always cold. What makes winter so special is how everything is covered with a thick layer of snow. This makes the landscape quiet and peaceful. Oh, and then after a walk and a snowball fight enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream. This really completes the winter scene for me.
Spring: The season of flowers and bees. The time when animals crawl out of hibernation and flowers begin to bloom. I can so enjoy the fresh air and warm rays of the sun. This is one of my favorite seasons anyway. Even though it has some cold days, there are also days that are wonderfully warm.
Summer: I immediately think of the beach, lots of sunscreen, delicious cold drinks but most of all, eating delicious ice cream. Yummy. If you ask me, I sometimes find summers much too hot. I would like it to rain again, it’s so refreshing.
Autumn: The season where the raincoat and umbrella are my very best friend. But also where the inclement wind can make frightening noises. Yet autumn also has beautiful features. For example, the trees appear in shades of red, yellow and orange. I then find it super fun to make a pile of leaves and jump in the middle of it. Or how about stomping in the middle of puddles with your boots?
Which season are you looking forward to?
