Last night I went to a restaurant with a two friends. It was a spontaneous idea, not because something had to be celebrated. When we arrived at the “Beregoed” restaurant, there was a pleasant atmosphere. The soft light, the murmur of conversation, and the smell of good food filled the air. We were directed to a table by the window, overlooking the city. The waiter greeted us kindly, but he seemed a bit uncertain. When he took our orders, he also didn’t seem to fully understand what we liked.

Ever since I was a little bear, I have been incredibly afraid of the dentist. The sterile smell and the loud sound of the drill make me anxious. The worst part is the anesthetics: such a long needle in my mouth. Brr… These terrible experiences make me prefer to postpone my dental appointments as long as possible. Now I have been suffering from toothache for a few weeks. Because the pain has become tremendously unbearable, I can’t postpone now. So I called the clinic to make an appointment.

Regularly I go to a café. I do this not only to enjoy their delicious coffee and apple pie. I take this opportunity to write my stories. My niece Emma came up with a new idea: painting. She recently started taking painting classes and thought I should try it too. According to her, it’s a great new hobby to explore. Besides being creative, it is also a good way to express emotions. I was already beginning to have reservations about this idea. Still, I wanted to give the new hobby a chance.
